Birth & Postpartum Doula

I am a second-generation Medical Herbalist and a Holistic Doula, and I combine these modalities to support women and families. I deeply trust in nature and birth and can support you in various ways with fertility, pregnancy, birth, post-partum and with children’s health. At the time of writing this I have been working full time in holistic health care for 10 years and love my work.

If you wish to work with me at any stage of your journey, then feel most welcome to reach out.

You are welcome to call me first to see if we resonate together, and I will always have 5 minutes to chat and answer any initial questions. Then if you want to go ahead and work together, the first step will be making an appointment time to meet in person at my clinic based in Christchurch, New Zealand. I care for each woman and family individually and we will meet as often as needed to best support your journey. If you want me to support you as both a herbalist and doula then I may also prescribe Herbal Medicines or Nutritional support as needed.

Depending on my commitments in my clinical work I love to attend and support birth, and if I am available around your due date, please feel welcome to enquire about my birth attendance services.

If I attend your birth my role as your doula is to support you emotionally and to help advocate for you if needed. I will also help to create the best possible environment for you to feel safe and in trust of your space and your body. I attend homebirth, hospital birth and birth centre's where ever you feel most comfortable and safe.

It is a great honour to be of service to my community and I really believe what Midwife Jeannine Parvati Baker says, that peace on earth begins at birth.
