End of Life Doula

Kia ora I'm Sarah

I work as an End of Life Doula supporting clients in Christchurch Otautahi.

My aim is to provide love and care for people and their chosen whanau at End of Life through compassionate, practical and personalised support.

At the heart of my work is the concept of Mate Whakaahuru meaning “to die in a warm and comforting place.”

I strive to create a transparent and nurturing environment for my clients where both the person and their chosen whānau feel cherished and at ease.

Empowerment is a huge part of my work and I collaborate closely with my client helping to make informed decisions, get access to resources and advocating for their wishes.

My aim is that my clients can find comfort and peace knowing things are in order, and they are well supported and cared for. I approach this journey with compassion, and guidance.

I can also help with practical and personalised support in organising care before and after death as well as funerals, ceremonies, memorials. My goal is to alleviate some of the stress and pressure during this significant time and to offer guidance and options to help and assist people to make informed decisions through finding the support they need.
