Kia ora I’m Liz…
…for as long as I can remember I have been interested in people and their life stories. My upbringing in the UK, Europe and Kuwait introduced me to cultural perspectives; and the importance of knowing ourselves as our own story unfolds through the peaks, troughs and all that’s in-between.
The Fifth Season is a support service for people facing grief, loss and matters related to death, dying and the palliative experience: our work is to support you and your loved ones at any stage of this difficult and unique journey. The Fifth Season offers professional social work and end-of-life Doula support – first recorded in ancient Greece (δούλα), a modern-day doula companions those entering life, birthing, and those transitioning from their earthly life, dying. Whether the loss and grief are past - or current - or a shadow looming ahead, whether related to age or the diagnosis of a life-limiting illness and whether this is your experience or someone close to you; I can walk alongside you.
